A Nurse Mare Foal is a foal of a nurse mare. A nurse mare's job is to feed and take care of a Thoroughbred foal while it's mother is having another foal. A nurse mare is bred so that she'll have milk to take care of a TB foal. Then the nurse mare's real foal is taken away sometimes only at hours old and sent to an auction or straight to slaughter. These foals need to be saved! These little young ones has a life to live! They need to know that someone cares about them. They need to know that they are not just born so that their mother can have milk. Let's save every horse in the whole auction ring! Come on folks, these horses depend on us!
