A lot of people can no longer care for their horses, so they send them to auctions and animal shelters. But, most of the horses sent to animal shelters are euthanized. Many animal shelters in California take in horses. It is so heart breaking to see the pictures of the horses, with little or no food and water. The horses have very small e cramped in stalls and hardly have any shade. The Devore Animal Shelter and Kern County Animal Shelter are only a few of the California Animal Shelters who take in horses. We can't let these precious horses be put-down, just because there are too many of them. We need to save these horses, and let people know that they can send their horse to a horse rescue, and that they don't need to send them to an auction or an animal shelter. Horses deserve to be loved!!! WHO AGREES!?!
